Natural Procreative Technology (NaPro Technology) is a new area of medicine which focuses on fertility care, rather than fertility control, in female reproductive health.
NaPro Technology offers effective medical and surgical treatments for issues such as:
Unlike many current treatments which drastically alter your body (using the pill, ect.), NaPro Technology uses moral, natural, and effective treatments which respect your procreative potential and dignity as a woman.
Dr. Grawey is trained as a NaPro Technology Medical Consultant.
The Creighton Model
NaPro Technology is founded on using the Creighton Model to chart your menstrual cycle. This assists the physicians to identify the specific causes of any issues you may be experiencing. After your initial appointment (or during if you currently chart using Creighton), you will be asked to chart for two months and then bring your chart to a follow-up appointment with a physician. Please see the box on the right for resources to learn how to chart using the Creighton Model System.
Request an Appointment
To request an NaPro Technology appointment, please first register for the Creighton Model Class on the right and our Fertility Care Practitioners will start your appointment. If you have already been trained to chart using the Creighton method, please call the office at 636-875-1140 for more information.
All women (whether married, single, struggling with reproductive issues, or not) are encouraged to learn more about the Creighton Model.
The use of the Creighton model is beneficial to understanding yourself as woman, achieving/avoiding pregnancy, and simply monitoring and maintaining your own gynaecological health.
Little Flower Family Medicine is pleased to offer Creighton Model teaching by Rachel Amiri, FCP Intern.
